Converse Conditioned Air was selected as the mechanical contractor for the construction of a veterinary vaccine research facility in northern Iowa. This facility consists of three, Bio-Level Safety 3 buildings, changing rooms with full shower facilities. The facility includes 100% conditioned make up air, HEPA filters on the intake as well as on the exhaust side of the system. There are two necropsy facilities with separate HVAC / Filtration systems from the remainder of the building. Each research space has separate and redundant HVAC / Filtration systems and all of the sanitary plumbing is designed so not to cross contaminate any of the on-going research.
